Warwicksnow presents...
This year we are taking around 300 Warwick students to Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe, which is part of the Three Valleys, the largest skiing area in the world!
With over 600km of runs, including 180 greens and blues (beginners), and 138 blacks and reds (advanced), it has something for everyone.
TRAVEL

Included in the £399 base price is return coach travel from campus to our accommodation in Val Thorens, including ferry travel. It will take around 24 hours for us to get there.
The coaches will leave from the Bluebell car park on campus on the afternoon of Friday 7th December. Coach timings and your coach allocations will be released closer to the departure date. Please bring soft cases as they are easier to pack onto the coach!
On the return journey, ***London drop off WILL BE AVAILABLE***

If you would prefer to arrange your own transport, or such as flights and transfers from the airport, there is a £60 reduction from the base price but you must organise this yourself.
If you require only one way travel (i.e. coach from campus to Val Thorens but you will not be getting the coach back to campus with us), there is no reduction in base price.
ACCOMODATION
Also included in the base price is self catered accomodation at Le Cheval Blanc apartments in Val Thorens itself. This is in the centre of town, a short walk from all the shops, bars, restaurants and clubs, so you will have no issue finding somewhere to eat.
It is also SKI IN SKI OUT accomodation - so no tiring walks carrying your skis!
There is also free WiFi, a small kitchenette including cutlery, crockery, hotplates, an oven and a fridge. You'll also get facilities to store your ski/snowboard equipment in secure lockers.
Once you've booked on tour, shortly before we leave we will use an online booking system for you to choose who you are in a room with!
EQUIPMENT HIRE
LESSONS
If you've never skied before, don't worry! You can have lessons both before we go and whilst we're out there.
Warwicksnow are offering an amazing deal of 3 two hour lessons with qualified instructors at the Tamworth Snowdome (so you will be skiing on real snow!) for just £80. This includes transport from campus and equipment hire, so all you need is some warm clothes! Check out our Facebook page, or contact our Captains John and Matt for more details.
You will also have the option to add lessons in Val Thorens on the booking form. Countless Warwicksnow members (including some of our past and present exec) have learnt to ski whilst on tour, so don't think you'll be surrounded by experts!
Equipment hire is NOT included in the base price, but on the booking form you will be able to choose your equipment if needed. Depending on your skiing ability, equipment ranges from £85 hire for the week to £115. This includes a helmet, poles, skis/snowboard, and boots. You will be able to carry any equipment of your own on the coaches if you need however!
The rental shop will be located very close to our accommodation, and on the first day we will head down to get fitted.
If you need extra travel insurance, you will also be able to purchase this through NUCO (our tour provider) on the booking form.
LIFT PASS
Included in the base price is a Val Thorens lift pass, however you will be able to upgrade to cover the Three Valleys Ski Zone for a small supplement if you're a more intrepid skier!
APRES
And now for what you're really going on tour for... APRES! Included in the base price is exclusive access to all of our apres events, and club nights at MALAYSIA, the biggest club in the Alps!
